Trump Obama ISIS Sarcasm Tweet

Donald Trump doubled down yesterday on his accusations that President Obama is the founder of the terrorist organization ISIS. He told Hugh Hewitt on his radio program that he meant exactly what he said.

Trump told Hewitt, "No, I meant he's the founder of ISIS. I do. He was the most valuable player. I give him the most valuable player award. I give her, too, by the way, Hillary Clinton."

Yesterday, CNN National Security Analyst Peter Bergen explained how Obama was not the founder of ISIS in an article. Today, Donald Trump appears to be walking back his claim that Obama founded ISIS. He now suggests that he was just being sarcastic. Trump tweeted, "Ratings challenged @CNN reports so seriously that I call President Obama (and Clinton) "the founder" of ISIS, & MVP. THEY DON'T GET SARCASM?"

Trump also said he was being sarcastic a couple weeks ago when he asked Russian hackers to help find Hillary Clinton's missing emails. Take a look:
