FBI Identifies Ahmad Khan Rahami as Suspect in Chelsea Bombing

The FBI has identified Ahmad Khan Rahami as a suspect in the Chelsea bombing in New York City. The bomb exploded near a trash dumpster around 8:30 p.m. at 135 West 23rd Street, New York, New York. 29 people were injured in the blast.

The FBI says the suspect is armed and dangerous. They say is 5'6" tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and brown facial hair. He is a U.S. citizen. He was born in Afghanistan in 1988.

People on Twitter in New York City are tweeting about receiving an early alert on their smartphones about the suspect.
